FundManger

About FundManger

Mechanics first. Opinion, clearly labeled.

Quantitative Methodology

How the calculators are built.

Every calculator on this site uses standard, published formulas — compound interest, weighted-average blended returns, parametric Value-at-Risk — rather than proprietary models. The math is intentionally ordinary so it can be checked.

Where a tool requires an assumption — an expected return, a volatility figure — that assumption is stated on the page itself, and the tool is designed to be re-run with your own numbers rather than trusted as a forecast.

We do not fabricate historical performance data, fund rankings or advisor credentials anywhere on this site.

01

Published formulas only

No black-box scoring or hidden weighting.

02

Assumptions stated in-line

Every assumed rate is labeled next to the tool that uses it.

03

Editable, not prescriptive

Every default input can be replaced with your own figures.

Editorial Governance

Rules the content is written under.

No Invented Figures

Performance numbers, fund names and statistics used as fact are not fabricated for effect.

General, Not Individual

Content is written for a general audience and never framed as advice for a specific reader's situation.

Independent Content

FundManger is not a broker, bank, adviser or fund company, and doesn't imply an affiliation with one.

Data Methodology & Ethics

Independence is a practice, not a slogan.

We don't accept placements that would require presenting a specific fund or product as superior, and we don't imply regulatory approval or endorsement that doesn't exist.

When a topic involves genuine debate among practitioners — active versus passive management, for instance — we try to represent the actual range of views rather than picking a side and calling it consensus.
